Facebook Ads: How to target users by population?
Sometimes it's cool to target by city population... but how?
Backstory: I found that my users are rural - so why waste money on expensive city audiances?
I did an export of a client's purchases and mapped them with Google Data Studio. I found that only about 10% come from big cities. The rest are mostly rural and suburban. I assume CPM on big cities will be more expensive. So I would like to have ad sets for rural and suburban customers separated from urban users.
Is there an easy way to include/exclude big cities? Or should I just make a list of big cities and create saved audiences and reuse?
Huge thank you to Andre Lunev who came through with the solution:
